So now that all the hype is over I can write about the Leer Tower wheat paste art. Basically I wanted my daughter to see that someone cared about our neighborhood and to feel uplifted by these figures depicting eternal gratitude and love. I included a few portraits of her so she would feel important despite her size. It is important to me to have a voice as an artist (which means make art and put it where it will be seen) as long as I give art back to the people I am living the dream!
